Vaughan web and software development

Web development and software for Vaughan builders, distributors and manufacturers

Ojastra is a web development company for Vaughan contractors, distributors and manufacturers who need more than a template site: customer ordering, quoting, job tracking and the systems that connect them. We also build custom software and AI automation, and each project gets one fixed price before work starts.

Vaughan is part of the GTA we cover in person, and its business parks are an easy trip from our Toronto base.

Fixed price. You own the code. A working demo every week.

Everyday friction for Vaughan firms

Change orders and site photos buried in texts

A contractor agrees an extra over the phone, snaps a photo, and three weeks later nobody can prove the price. Job costing needs one place for all of it.

Wholesale orders phoned in and retyped

Customers call or email their orders, someone keys them into the system, and mistakes surface at the dock. A reorder portal removes the retyping.

Quotes that take three days

Estimators rebuild each price from old spreadsheets while the customer waits and a competitor answers first.

A website disconnected from everything

Plenty of firms can make a Vaughan business look good online. Fewer can wire the site to your ERP, your schedule and your invoices.

What we build for Vaughan businesses

Job costing and change-order tracking for builders

Budgets, extras, photos and approvals in one record per job, with the numbers visible to the office the same day.

Reorder portals for wholesalers and distributors

Customers log in to see their price list and past orders, reorder in two taps and watch delivery status, all feeding your ERP.

Quote-to-order systems for manufacturers

A draft quote from your own rate sheet in minutes, reviewed by your estimator, then turned into a work order when accepted.

Route and delivery tools for local distribution

Route planning, a driver app and proof of delivery for the trucks leaving the business parks every morning.

A website developer for new Vaughan Metropolitan Centre businesses

Sites for the offices, clinics and shops opening around the new downtown, with booking, payments and client logins from day one.

Building, making and distributing north of Toronto

Vaughan's economy is built on making, moving and building things. Manufacturers and wholesale distributors fill the business parks around the Highway 400 and 407 interchange, a rail intermodal yard sits inside the city, and residential and commercial construction keeps general contractors and trades busy.

The Vaughan Metropolitan Centre is the city's new downtown, with a subway station, office towers and condominiums. New offices and shops there need the basics quickly: a site that books, a system that bills and a portal clients can log into. We keep those at the smaller end of the price sheet unless the scope truly needs more.

Manufacturers developing a new process or product may have work that qualifies for SR&ED or NRC IRAP, and distributors with revenue above $1M can ask BDC about LIFT financing. We write the technical documentation, and the program or your accountant confirms eligibility.

Questions owners ask us

How much does a web development company in Vaughan charge?

Our work starts at $5K. A Shopify store rebuild or integration is $5K–$30K, a reorder portal or customer app is $20K–$60K, and an internal tool for your own team is $12K–$40K. $1,000 template sites are not on our menu, and the $1,500 blueprint fixes your price before you commit.

Can software track job costs and change orders for a construction firm?

Yes. Each job gets a budget, a running list of extras with photos and approvals, and a live view of margin. Typically it's a $12K–$40K internal tool over four to ten weeks, built around how your project managers already work.

Can customers order from our catalogue online and have it reach our ERP?

Yes. A logged-in portal can show each customer's price list and order history and write orders into your ERP or accounting tool. Where a Shopify store fits your catalogue, that route can land lower in the $5K–$30K range.

Do you offer IT consulting for Vaughan companies?

We review your systems, plan integrations and decide with you what to buy and what to build. We don't take on help-desk support, device management or network monitoring, so keep a managed IT provider for those.

How long does a build take?

An integration takes two to four weeks, an internal tool four to ten, and a customer-facing portal six to twelve. A working link is ready to click within the first two weeks.

Who owns the finished software?

You do. The code, the hosting and the domain sit in accounts under your name from day one, with nothing held back if we part ways.
