Hours of order entry a day
An admin spends half the day typing orders and invoices from emails and PDFs into the ERP, and the odd typo turns into a wrong shipment.
Software for distributors and manufacturers
Ojastra builds order entry automation for distributors and manufacturers whose staff still type orders, supplier invoices and quotes into an ERP by hand. We read the emails, PDFs and spreadsheets that orders arrive in, enter them in your system with exceptions flagged for a person, and connect inventory, customer portals and quoting around it, for a fixed price.
It works with older systems that have no API, you own what we build, and we're not an ERP reseller.
Fixed price. You own the code. A working demo every week.

A decade-old system with no API and a vendor quote for changes the business can't justify. The usual integration route is closed, so your staff are the integration.
The website, the warehouse and the ERP each say something different, so customers order what you don't have.
Every quote is rebuilt from price lists and every where-is-my-order question is a call. Customers who can't see their orders phone instead.
Orders from email, PDF and spreadsheet are read, checked against your customer and product data and entered for you. Exceptions go to a person.
Supplier invoices read and matched to purchase orders, with differences flagged before anyone pays.
Stock levels shared between the ERP, warehouse tools and your online store, so what customers see is what you hold.
Customers log in to reorder, check stock and delivery status, and download invoices and documents.
Quotes drafted from your price lists, customer terms and margin rules, and approved by sales before they go out.
Sales, margin, stock and open orders pulled from the ERP, accounting and CRM into one view.
Many distributors and manufacturers run on an ERP that's years old and was never built to be connected. That's normal, not a dead end. We look for the safest route in: a database or file export, a scheduled import, or software that enters data through the same screens a clerk would use. The blueprint confirms which before we quote.
Orders are never entered blind. Each one is checked against customer, product and price data, anything that doesn't match is held for a person, and every action is logged so you can see what went into the ERP and why. Staff stop typing and start reviewing exceptions.
We don't resell an ERP and we don't push you to replace yours. Replacement is sometimes right, and when it is we'll say so, but more often the cheaper move is to automate the work around the system you own. We meet GTA companies in person and work with businesses across Canada by video. Companies with $1M or more in revenue may be able to finance projects like this through BDC's LIFT program; BDC confirms eligibility.

One automation, such as reading orders from email and PDFs and entering them into your ERP, is typically $5K–$12K CAD over two to four weeks. An internal tool is $12K–$40K and a customer-facing portal $20K–$60K. The $1,500 blueprint, credited to the build, fixes the price.
Usually, yes. We can work from scheduled exports and imports, or automate the entry a clerk performs through the screens, and flag anything unusual for a person. The blueprint confirms the route and its limits before you pay for the build.
Every order is validated against your customer, product and price data, and anything uncertain is held for staff instead of guessed. All actions are logged, and we test the system against your past orders before it goes live.
Yes. Stock levels move between the ERP, warehouse tools and storefront, including Shopify, so customers see what you actually hold. A sync between two systems is usually $5K–$12K CAD.
No, and we'll tell you if you should. We automate and extend the ERP you have. We're not a reseller, so we have no system to sell you.
One automation takes two to four weeks, an internal tool four to ten and a portal six to twelve. You see a working version every week, tested on your own documents.
You do. The code is in your GitHub account and runs on hosting in your name, and your data stays in your own systems.
