ERP consultant and CRM developer

An independent ERP consultant and custom CRM developer

Ojastra is an ERP consultant that doesn't resell any ERP or CRM software. We make the systems you already run work together, build the screens and automations they're missing, and develop a custom CRM when off-the-shelf ones don't fit. Everything is a fixed price you agree before work starts.

From our Toronto base we work with businesses across Canada and the US over video, with a working demo every week. You own the code, and nothing we build ties you to a particular ERP vendor.

Fixed price. You own the code. A working demo every week.

Common ERP and CRM headaches

Orders keyed in by hand

Someone spends hours a day typing orders and invoices from emails and PDFs into the ERP, and the odd typo becomes a wrong shipment.

An ERP with no API

Older systems can't be connected the usual way. We look for another route: file exports, scheduled imports or automation that enters data through the screens a clerk would use.

A CRM that's too rigid or too heavy

You pay per seat for features nobody uses and still track deals in a spreadsheet on the side.

A rollout that never ends

Big ERP implementations run long and over budget. We take the narrow, fixed-scope pieces so you see value in weeks instead of quarters.

ERP integration and CRM work we do

ERP integration

Sales, inventory, purchasing and accounting systems connected so data is entered once, in the right place.

Order and invoice entry automation

Orders and supplier invoices read from emails, PDFs and spreadsheets and entered into the ERP for you, with exceptions flagged for a person.

Custom CRM development

Contacts, deals, quotes and follow-ups shaped around your sales process, with the reports you actually use.

Customer and supplier portals

Customers check stock, reorder and see invoices; suppliers confirm orders without email chains.

Reporting and dashboards

Sales, margins and stock levels from your ERP and CRM in one view, with no month-end export.

Migration and clean-up

Data moved out of an old system or spreadsheet into a new one, with checks that nothing went missing on the way.

What we do, and what we don't, in an ERP project

We're not an ERP reseller or a certified implementation partner for any vendor, and we won't steer you toward one. If you're choosing a system, we compare the options against your actual workflow and say plainly when a configured off-the-shelf product beats anything custom.

Where we're strongest is the part of an ERP implementation that usually goes wrong: connecting the ERP to everything around it. That means the accounting tool, e-commerce store, CRM, warehouse tools and the spreadsheets people really use. We start with a blueprint that maps the workflow and ends in a fixed quote.

A custom CRM isn't always the answer either. Often a configured off-the-shelf CRM plus a few integrations costs less, and we'll price both routes so you can compare them side by side.

Questions owners ask us

How much does it cost to develop a custom CRM?

A custom CRM that replaces spreadsheets and fits your sales process is typically $12K–$40K CAD over four to ten weeks. Connecting or extending a CRM you already have is usually $5K–$12K. The $1,500 blueprint, credited to the build, ends in a fixed quote so you aren't guessing.

What does an ERP consultant do?

An ERP consultant helps you pick, connect and get more from your ERP. We focus on integration, automation and the screens your ERP lacks, and a first fixed-price automation or integration is typically $5K–$12K CAD over two to four weeks.

Do you handle ERP implementation?

We don't resell or configure ERP packages end to end. We handle the integration, data migration and automation around an ERP implementation, and we work alongside your vendor or implementation partner.

What if our ERP has no API at all?

Usually, yes. We can work from scheduled exports and imports, or automate the data entry a clerk does today, with a person reviewing exceptions. The blueprint confirms the route and its limits before we quote the build.

Why hire a CRM development company instead of buying a CRM?

Buy when an existing CRM covers most of how you sell. Build when you're bending your process around it, paying for several tools, or keeping the real pipeline in a spreadsheet. We'll tell you which, even when the answer is to buy.

Can a custom CRM connect to our ERP and accounting software?

Yes, and that's usually the main reason to build one. Quotes, orders and invoices pass between the CRM, ERP and accounting tool, so the data is entered once.

Who owns the code and the data?

You do. The code is in your GitHub account, the software runs on hosting in your name and your data stays in your own databases.
