A good-looking site that brings in no enquiries
Brochure sites look fine and do nothing. We start from the job the site must do (book, quote, sell or sign people up) and design around it.
Toronto web development company
Ojastra does web development in Toronto for businesses that need a site that does work: take bookings, accept orders, give customers a portal login and capture leads you actually follow up. Our web projects start at $5,000, and the price is fixed before we build.
We don't build $1,000 template sites. If a template is all you need, a site builder will serve you better and we'll tell you so. We're the right call when the website is supposed to bring in or handle business, and you own the code, the domain and the hosting accounts from day one.
Fixed price. You own the code. A working demo every week.
Brochure sites look fine and do nothing. We start from the job the site must do (book, quote, sell or sign people up) and design around it.
Form entries land in an inbox, bookings in another tool, payments in a third. We connect the site to your calendar, CRM, accounting and email, so nobody retypes anything.
You pay a deposit, wait weeks and never see a preview. You get a staging link in week one and an updated one every week after, so problems get fixed while they're cheap.
Some builders keep the code, hosting and even the domain in their own accounts. With us they're all in yours, so you can change developers whenever you like.
Clients choose a time, pay a deposit and get reminders, and your calendar fills itself.
Menus, catalogues or price lists with Stripe payments, order emails and a simple admin screen. It's the same kind of ordering platform we run ourselves at pickup.kitchen.
Logins for orders, invoices, documents and status updates, so customers help themselves instead of calling.
Forms and landing pages that drop each enquiry into your CRM, send a reply within minutes and give your team a task to act on.
A design made for your business instead of a theme everyone else bought, built for fast loading and for the phone in your customer's hand.
We keep what works, replace what doesn't, and set up redirects so old links and bookmarks keep working after launch.
Toronto customers search by neighbourhood. A plumber in Scarborough, a physiotherapist in the Annex and a caterer in Etobicoke compete for different searches, even in the same city. We build clear service and area pages that say what you do and where, and match your site to your Google Business Profile so a 'near me' search has something real to find. We write for people first, and nobody can honestly promise a ranking.
Accessibility matters in Ontario. The AODA sets web accessibility rules for many organizations in the province, and an accessible site is easier for every customer to use. We build with the WCAG guidelines in mind from the first screen: proper headings, labelled forms, readable contrast and keyboard use. Ask your lawyer which AODA rules apply to you.
We're in Toronto and meet GTA businesses in person when it helps, with invoices in Canadian dollars.
Fixed prices in Canadian dollars. The blueprint fee is credited in full when you go ahead with the build.

A site with one working feature, such as bookings or lead capture, usually sits in the $5K–$12K band, and portals or ordering sites are $20K–$60K. The blueprint turns your wish list into one fixed number first. See all prices.
A free written plan within 48 hours, then a one-week blueprint ($1,500, credited to the build) that ends in one fixed price and a schedule.
A working link to click every week. Milestone payments, no hourly surprises. Scope changes are priced in writing before we build them.
You own the code and accounts from day one. Optional care plan from $500 a month for hosting, fixes and small changes.
Our own live ordering and meal-plan platform for food businesses.
Our web work starts at $5,000. A site with one working feature, such as booking or lead capture, is usually $5K–$12K over 2–4 weeks, and a customer portal or ordering site is $20K–$60K over 6–12 weeks. The $1,500 blueprint ends in a fixed quote and is credited to the build.
If you need a simple brochure, you might. Templates stop working when the site has to take payments, connect to your systems or handle logins, and bolting that on later often costs more than building it properly once. We'll say so if a template is enough.
Both. The design is custom and made for your brand, and the same engineers build it, so there's no gap between a designer's mock-ups and working code. If you already have a designer or a brand guide, we build from their files.
Everything. The code is in your GitHub account, and the domain, hosting and analytics are in your name. You also get a short written guide to how the site works, so another developer can pick it up if you ever want that.
You work with engineers, not account managers: a free written plan within 48 hours, an optional $1,500 blueprint with a fixed quote, then weekly builds on a staging link that you approve before we move on. Nothing is hidden behind a retainer.
Yes. We review what you have, keep what works and plan redirects so old links keep working. If starting over is cheaper than patching, we'll say so and show the numbers.
Nobody can promise that. We build fast pages with clean structure, proper headings and local details, so Google can read the site. Rankings also depend on content and competition, and we'll tell you honestly what we think it will take.
No call needed. You get the approach, a price range and a timeline in writing, free.
