AI consulting and automation

AI consulting services that end in a working automation, not a slide deck

Ojastra offers AI consulting services for businesses that want a specific job done faster, not an AI strategy. We pick one named task, such as answering and booking calls, drafting quotes from your price sheet or keying orders into your ERP, then build it, connect it to your tools and hand it over for a fixed price.

We work remotely with clients across Canada and the US from our Toronto base. A person stays in the loop wherever a mistake would cost you, and there's no retainer: you own what we build.

Fixed price. You own the code. A working demo every week.

The jobs owners want AI to take off their plate

Missed calls and slow lead follow-up

Calls go to voicemail while the team is on a job, and leads cool off within hours. Every missed call is a booking you didn't get.

Quotes built by hand

Someone rebuilds the same quote from a pricing spreadsheet, and the customer waits a day or more for an answer.

Orders, invoices and documents retyped

Hours a day go into copying data from one system into another, or renaming and filing PDFs.

AI pitches you can't judge

Resellers charge monthly retainers for tools you could subscribe to directly, and 'AI runs your business' promises fade by month two. We price a project, show it working and keep you in control.

AI automation jobs we build

Calls answered and booked

An AI voice or text assistant takes the call, books into your calendar and sends a summary. Callers can reach a person whenever they ask.

Quotes from your price sheet

A web form or email becomes a draft quote using your own prices and rules. You approve it before it goes out.

Orders and invoices keyed into your ERP

Orders that arrive as PDFs, emails or spreadsheets are read, checked and entered for you, with exceptions flagged for a person.

Lead follow-up in minutes

New inquiries get a prompt reply and are logged to your CRM, and past customers are nudged when it's time.

Documents filed and chased

Files named, sorted and linked to the right record, with reminders sent when a customer hasn't replied.

AI integration inside your own software

Search, summaries and assistants added to a tool or portal you already own, working from your documents and data.

How an AI project works, step by step

We start with the free written plan: tell us the job, and within 48 hours you get the approach, a price range and a timeline. Next comes the $1,500 blueprint, where we map the current process, collect real examples such as calls, emails and orders, and write down exactly what the automation will and won't do.

Then we build in weekly slices and test against your real examples, not invented ones. A person reviews anything the system is unsure about, and every action is logged so you can see what it did and why. Usage costs, such as phone minutes or AI model fees, run on accounts in your name and are estimated in the blueprint.

Canadian businesses with $1M or more in revenue may be able to finance AI adoption through BDC's LIFT program, which starts with a BDC advisory plan, and genuinely new technical work may qualify for SR&ED or NRC IRAP support. Your accountant, NRC or BDC has the final word on eligibility.

Questions owners ask us

How much do AI consulting services cost?

One AI automation or integration, such as answering and booking calls or drafting quotes, is typically $5K–$12K CAD. An internal tool with AI built in is $12K–$40K. The $1,500 blueprint, credited to the build, fixes the price first, and the written plan is free.

How long does it take to implement AI automation?

Two to four weeks for one automation. The first week or two goes to mapping the job and testing with your real examples, so by the time it goes live it has already handled your own cases.

Is AI automation realistic for a small business?

Yes, when the job is narrow and repeated every day: calls, quotes, order entry, follow-up. It's a poor fit when the process is vague or changes weekly, and we'll say so before you spend anything beyond the free plan.

Will AI make mistakes unchecked or replace my staff?

No. We design it so a person approves anything that matters, such as a quote or a booking exception, and the system flags what it's unsure of. It takes the repetitive part of the job; it doesn't run your business.

What's the difference between an AI implementation consultant and a development team?

A consultant tells you what could be done; a development team builds and connects it. We do both under one fixed price, so the advice is tied to something that works rather than a report.

Who owns the automation you build?

You do. The code, the workflow and the accounts are in your name, so you can change providers or developers whenever you like.

Can you add AI to software we already use?

Yes. We add AI to existing tools and portals, or connect it between two systems you keep using. Where an older system has no API, the blueprint says how we'll get data in and what that costs.
