Mississauga software and app development

Software and mobile app development for Mississauga businesses

Ojastra is a mobile app development company that builds for Mississauga businesses, from freight forwarders near Pearson airport to head-office teams along Hurontario Street. We make the system your operation is missing, and the price is agreed before work begins.

Mississauga is a short drive from Toronto, where we're based, so a visit to your site is easy to arrange. Either way you click through a working version every week.

Fixed price. You own the code. A working demo every week.

Where Mississauga operations get stuck

Dispatch run from a group chat

Shipments, drivers and dock appointments are tracked across WhatsApp, email and a spreadsheet, and nobody sees the whole day in one place. A shared board with live status fixes that.

Head office and branches on different tools

Approvals, vendor forms and month-end reports travel between teams as attachments. One small internal system gives each team a place to work and finance a place to look.

A website developer at $1,000, an agency at $80,000

Both kinds of quote are out there. Template sites at $1,000 aren't our work, and we won't hand you a big number with no scope behind it. The blueprint ends in one price with the work written down.

AI that only works in the demo

A distributor loses orders when calls go unanswered and quote replies take a day. We set up named jobs, like every call answered and booked, with a person stepping in when the caller needs one.

What we build for Mississauga businesses

Shipment and appointment boards for logistics firms

Dock slots, driver check-ins and delivery status in one view, with customers looking up their own order instead of phoning your desk.

Driver and warehouse apps

Phone apps for proof of delivery, photos, scans and pick lists, built once for iPhone and Android and tested on your real routes.

Tools for businesses that serve the airport

Quotes, bookings and job tracking for ground transport, parking, catering, courier and hospitality operators who live by flight schedules.

Approval and vendor systems for head offices

Purchase approvals, supplier onboarding and reporting that replace email chains between departments.

Mobile apps for customers and field teams

Ordering, booking and account apps for your customers, plus the internal apps your crews carry on site.

Orders keyed into your ERP for you

Purchase orders and invoices arrive in mixed formats. We read them, draft the ERP entry and flag the odd ones for someone to approve.

Software for a city built around the airport

Mississauga is home to Toronto Pearson International Airport, and a large part of the local economy leans on it: cargo and freight forwarding, customs brokers, couriers, airline suppliers, hotels, and the warehouses and distribution centres that fill the business parks nearby. These businesses run on time windows, paperwork and handoffs, which is exactly where one shared system beats a spreadsheet.

The city is also known for corporate head offices, many of them around Mississauga City Centre. Head-office teams often need less new software than they expect. One approvals tool, one reporting view or one link between finance and operations is frequently the whole job, and that lands in our $5K–$12K automation range or the $12K–$40K internal tool range.

Highways 401, 403, 410 and 427 and the QEW all meet in and around the city, which is why so many fleets and distributors are based here. When a visit to your yard or office helps, we come to you. Weekly demos happen on screen, so nobody has to travel to see progress.

Questions owners ask us

How much does mobile app development cost in Mississauga?

A customer-facing app for iPhone, Android and the web usually costs $20K–$60K CAD and takes six to twelve weeks. A tool for your own staff, such as a dispatch board or warehouse app, sits in the $12K–$40K band. A one-week $1,500 blueprint, credited to the build, turns either idea into one fixed number.

Can you work with our current ERP, TMS or accounting software?

Usually, yes. We first check what your system offers: an API, an export file, or only a screen. Where an older ERP has no API, orders can still be keyed in for you, with a person reviewing anything unusual, as a $5K–$12K automation.

Is a website developer in Mississauga enough, or do you do more?

A website developer builds pages. We build the systems those pages feed: quote requests that land in your own system, customer logins, booking and payments. Our projects start at $5K, and a $1,000 template site is not something we offer.

Do you offer IT consulting in Mississauga?

Yes. We look at the systems you run, work out what to buy or connect, and write it up with prices. Help desks, device management and network support are not part of what we do, so keep a managed IT provider for those.

Can we meet in person?

Yes. Mississauga sits inside the GTA area we serve in person, so we can meet at your office, warehouse or yard for the kickoff and whenever a decision is easier made on site.

Could a Mississauga project qualify for SR&ED or BDC funding?

It may. Work with real technical uncertainty can be eligible for SR&ED or NRC IRAP, and businesses earning $1M or more a year can ask BDC about LIFT for AI and digital projects. We write the technical documentation; your accountant, NRC or BDC confirms eligibility.
